We do not collect or store any Instagram passwords, access tokens, or private account credentials.

• Improve product features based on usage patterns
• Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service

We share data only with trusted service providers that help us operate Social Snitch:

• Stripe: payment processing (they handle billing data under their own privacy policy)
• Supabase: authentication, database, and storage infrastructure
• HikerAPI: Instagram data retrieval (only usernames you submit are shared)
• OpenAI: AI-powered analysis features (data anonymized where possible)

We may also disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@socialsnitch.ai.

Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and gather usage analytics.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect service functionality.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, and access controls to protect your data.
